As I write this on Sunday, I can vouch that ‘zillions’ of little leaves on the weeping willows, flowers on the tulip trees and Bradford pears have all sprung forth in the last 24 hours! Hello spring and welcome!
Friday, April 2nd, come for Walt’s Wine Down and if you like, stay for the Stations of the Cross Good Friday Service in the vineyards led by Boonville United Methodist Church.
Saturday, April 3rd, Bill Mann and his famous jazz saxophones will delight you all afternoon, Noon to Six, in the tasting room as you sample our awesome wines AND it’s the Finals of the much touted Titilatte Blending Contest which begins at 3:00 PM. The lawns will be open for horseshoes, kite flying, relaxing, and/or picnicking. People friendly dogs on a leash are welcome outside.
Easter Sunday Morning, the Boonville United Methodist Church will host its annual Easter Sunrise Service at 6:45 AM in the vineyards. Nothing short of being here can describe seeing the sun rise behind Pilot Mountain while an Acappella Choir is singing! All are welcome and a breakfast follows in the Methodist Church Hut.
FYI: Easter Sunday is one of the three days a year that the RagApple Lassie Tasting Room is closed.
